The Edmonton real estate market had a tough time last week.

Here are the stats that you need to know:

New Listings: 328
Average List Price: $439,504.00
Average Sale Price: $427,059.00
Average Sale Price / Sq Ft: $291.00
Average Days on Market: 47
Total Sales: 174

Although the stats look depressing, one market indicator pretty much help boost our confidence-Total Sales went up hitting the 174 mark, a high point this month of August.

1. NEW PAINT – Putting a fresh coat of neutral colored paint will suit to a larger pool of Edmonton homebuyers and will contribute to a more updated look. You wouldn’t want to have your house look old, wouldn’t you?
